Always The Bridesmaid

A woman who was lamenting the fact that her daughter was 'Always the bridesmaid and never the bride' approached me to design some cushions for her out of the gorgeous lime green fabric her bridesmaids had worn on her wedding day.

I wrote and machine stitched a poem onto the pair of cushions. In order for the poem to make sense these cushions have to be next to each other always... 'til death do them part'

I picked up some sweet buttons on a trip to New York - The one is of a woman alone, walking her little poodle and the other is of a man passing her flowers, together they tell the perfect little love story.
